Cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) store small pieces of information in your browser. Under the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act (ekomloven § 2-7b) and the GDPR, we only use storage that isn't strictly necessary if you consent to it.
Your choice
On your first visit to mielikkix.ai you can accept all, reject all or choose in settings. Until you choose, nothing optional loads. We store your choice in the mx_consent cookie for 12 months, then ask again. We also ask again when this policy changes materially. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete its _ga cookies. Fonts are served from our own server, so no font request goes to Google.

Other third-party requests
- Exchange rates (api.frankfurter.dev): when you choose to see prices in EUR or USD, your browser fetches today's exchange rate. This sets no cookies, but your IP address is visible to that service.
- Chat widget (app.mielikkix.ai): the chat bubble's script loads from our own app domain. It stores nothing until you open the chat.
For businesses embedding the Mielikkix widget
The widget writes mielikkix_session (sessionStorage) only once a visitor opens the chat,mielikkix_chat_history once they send a message, and mielikkix_chat_consent if you ask visitors to agree before chatting. They're strictly necessary to hold the conversation together across pages and are cleared when the tab closes. Please list them in your own cookie and privacy notices.
